@koakuma Oof, yeah, if you want to run someone else's codebase then you're a bit SOL. You'd have to change up their build process. Maybe you could compile it on a different computer and copy the built files on the RPi?
@koakuma Maybe esbuild or swc would be more efficient?
@lain it's nice, shame that it's attached to not only a waste of natural resources, but also just to a waste of crypto

Mastodon DMs (Direct Messages) are not stored in a end-to-end encrypted fashion so if you need to have a conversation where you need to ensure a higher level of security, please move the conversation to an actual end-to-end messaging system like Signal.

On Mastodon? Want more features for your fedi experience? Have you considered looking at Misskey? It definitely has more features, many argue it has too many features, including chat, federated cat ears, emoji reactions, and an existential dread widget!
Here's a list of instances: https://join.misskey.page/en-US/instances
A special shoutout to stop.voring.me, which despite the name, is not about vore.

The fediverse has a unique moderation model - each instance moderates its own users, and can defederate from instances which uphold incompatible moderation policy. This allows for a sustainable model for entirely human moderation (unlike monolithic platforms which often stretch beyond feasible human moderation and rely heavily on bots), but this model only remains sustainable if users are spread out across the fediverse.
If you're new, this is just one reason why you should try to join a smaller instance when you find the opportunity, if you haven't already.
